Eiffel Tower

Eiffel tower

Today in France I went to the Eiffel tower. We queued for ages but finally we got tickets and went up a lift to the second floor. Did you know France have a Ferris wheel too. You could see the whole of Paris but we were not allowed on the top floor because there was already 400 and there was only allowed 400. By the Eiffel tower there were heaps of people selling tower replicas trying to say they made them but I saw on the bottom of one it said made in China. The French special police were carrying machine guns it was freaky.  We also went to the Arc de Triomphe which is where the Tour de France finishes. Then we went on a boat ride down the river Seine in Paris(I did not like it that much). It would tell about all the famous riverside things. Then we went for crepes I had a sugar crepe and it was delicious. Just because it was covered in sugar.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing, Samuel!

I am enjoying reading about your travels. You include such interesting details, such as the replicas made in China and the special police carrying machine guns. I would have enjoyed the boat trip down the Seine but it's cool you can say what you felt about it!

  2. Wow Samuel!
You have really shared lots of things about your adventure to countries so far.
I really enjoyed all your story that you have written.
I wish I could go to a country one day like Paris.
All your posts are looking great so far.
I can't wait till you are going to come back because you will share lots of things.
    Inspiring posts, Well done:)

  3. That looks great Sam.
    Paris seems really fun.
    Hope your enjoying your travels.
Police carrying machine guns! That would be creepy.
See you when you get back.

  4. Hi Samuel,
Mr Moriarty sent the link to your blog to all the teachers. How exciting to have gone up to top of the Eiffel Tower, floated down the River Seine and to have eaten crepes in Paris. The French Police are something else though. What an awesome experience with your family.

  5. Wow Samuel you brought back lots of memories for me! I have been to Paris and up the Eiffel Tower too. I wish i had done a boat cruise on the river Seine like you did. I bet those crepes were truely delicious! Great piece of writing about your observations and experiences in Paris. You will have such a great record of your travels.

  6. Awesome Samuel,
It looks like you are having fun in parris.
Enjoy the rest of your amazing trip.
    Well done

  7. Wow Sam!
It sounds like the Eiffel tower is pretty amazing considering there were that many people there.
The sugar crepes sound really yum.
Hope you are having a great time.
    Well done:-)

  8. Wow Sammy
We are all envious and love hearing and following your travels. Keep enjoying and loading those photos. Not like you to love the sweet foods.
    Cheers Ro

  9. Sounds like you had an amazing trip to Paris. I like hearing about what you're up to on your holiday!

  10. Kia ora Liske...and Sam!

Oh my gosh the time is flying, I am enjoying reading about your travels. I can totally relate to those crepes! I like a bit of lemon juice on mine with brown sugar. I think we're lucky that our police carry weapons in the boot of the car and don't walk around our streets carrying guns. That would be way too scary. I am looking forward to hearing your peaks and pits Liske...

    Cheers Mrs Miller

  11. are having such wonderful experiences!!!! I like how you are recording these for others to share. Glad you are having a fabulous time.

  12. Wow Samuel, such memory making experiences. Etch every moment into your mind as then it will stay with you forever (and when you go back as an adult it will all come flooding back). I LOVED Paris, and the River Seine boat ride. A bit slow for a boy who prefers speed I'm sure.

  13. Awesome Sam your a star that looks incredible I want to go there.
I wonder what else you saw. The Eiffel tower was so cool. Keep up the good work.

  14. Wow Samuel,

I really wish I could go to France:)
